  • Flat broke

I knew gettin a license here wld be costly but little did I know it wld be that costly (No thanks to my poor driving skills). I'm being charged AUD50/hr which is reasonable or even cheap but bcus I need A LOT of lessons its gonna work out to be expensive. Each lesson costs me at least a hundred. For one bloody lesson.

I'm devastated. Even going shopping doesnt interest me anymore. Oh no. That's tragic.

I was so confident I wld be gettin a new laptop but now I'm not so sure anymore...

  • Moving out!

I'm shifting to a new place in a matter of a week's time. It is of no doubt that I will miss the townhouse I've stayed in for the past 2 years. And of cos, my hsemates of whom I've grown very fond of throughout the years. Will blog more on my townhouse but not today.

As of right now, my room is in a completely chaotic state. And if I had told you that a tornado has just swept through my room, you'd believed me. Except that you don't get tornadoes very often in Australia, do you? Okay. Maybe you wld if I said I got burglarised. Which agn is quite impossible with the high amount of security (I hv to pass thru 4 freakin doors just to get to my own room!! Wad did I tell u?!!)

If I didn't convince you enuf, here's pictorial proof!

My room was at a point sooo messy that there isn't even space for me to walk to the door. Btw, the pics abv is after I cleared a path to the door . Yalah, that's the MAS blankie and pillowla. What?! Not complimentary meh?

Since I showed you part of my room, I might as well show you this. Something I came up with to hang my earrings. I utilised the choc box I didn't have the heart to throw. Now I hv a reason to keep it

Erm urm urm...That's all. Bye bye.

  • Overdue Queensland Trip! <333

Damn damn damn damn damn!! It's finally happening to me. Never experienced it before bcus it's only now that I have a blog. I accidentally refreshed my page and all my contents went poofff - lost in thin air! So here I am blogging from scratch!! Soooo frustrating!

I was saying...About 3 wks back, my hsemates (Crystal & Rinka-san) and myself made a trip to Queensland but it was all very last minute bcus we only started booking our tix 3 days before departure. We took an early flight to Gold Coast and headed straight to hotel upon arrival (who doesn't?).

(Happier tone) When we arrived, we were awed by the (room and) generosity of the hotel - a free wine to welcome us, breath taking view from balcony to say the least, THREE beds in a room and PLENTY of mirrors found in every corner for us to admire ourselves

    Mirror #1

    Mirror #2

    Mirror #3 and 4!!

The breath taking view from balcony...

    Early morning

    Later in the morning

How often do u see 3 beds in a room?

The price was more than reasonable - $109 per night after discount (RPP $200+ I think) as it was a last minute booking (See! Who said last minute is always bad?). Oh and it's called Vibe Hotel.

Tempting as it is to just kick back and relax in the hotel, we had to rush off to Seaworld before it closes at 5 p.m. and it's already 2 p.m!!

While we were inching closer to the bus stop, my eyes suddenly caught this public bus
across the road with the world Seaworld. Almost like a reflex, I shouted, "That's the bus!!" and ran across the road and further up to catch the bus. My companions quickly caught up with me while gasping heavily for air.

When it was my turn to buy ticket, I told the bus driver I wanted to go to Seaworld. Much to my horror, he replied, "This bus is coming back from Seaworld. To go there, you catch the bus over there" and pointed to the the bus parking further down across the road.
Our faces went . I'm the one with the mouth shut bcus I was too stunned.

Just when I thought the race was over, we dashed to the other bus hoping to catch it. This time, I didn't look out for the oncoming vehicles - they looked out for me. I swear I wasn't thinking if the cars could hit me. More like, pls Mr. Bus Driver, notice my desperate act and wait for usssssssss...

...and yes, we made it to the bus. Three of us were panting like mad it made us looked like we coincidentally and strangely had asthmatic attacks at the same time. So much so that when I was paying up, the bus driver cracked a joke and I just stared at him. He felt I very din give him face and said, "I was just joking." I immediately sensed the tension, apologised and explained that I was too tired from all the running .

15 mins or so later, we reached our destination. We didn't have to wait for long to get in bcus we bought the tickets online. Even the tickets got our faces :P
(No wonder it takes me so long to blog. I write about every detail!).

    Seaworld

A rare photo of 3 of us together

In Seaworld/Queensland, I was very cute. Yes, I said cute because instead of riding on thrill rides like these and the like....

    Crystal with Superman Escape

    Batwing Spaceshot

...we opted to ride on these...

    Characters from Looney Tunes

    Some random figures

and not forgetting taking advantage of their cute headbands and not buying them..

Rinksa-san accepting my call to act the fool

    This time w/o my accomplice

I really shd blog chronologically, but when I see the loads of photos, I just get too lazy to sort them out. I shd also add that Xanga is a hassle bcus it keeps acting up and as I type, there isn't any cursor!! It's super annoying and only dampens my spirit to blog. Bleh! I shd also include Part II or even III since I haven't blog abt Brisbane yet. Till then!
